The Bimota DB7 Hid Kits are an outcome of stringent quality tests. These Hid kits are totally computerized and 100% plug and play. It contains two ballasts, two bulbs, wiring harnesses, mounting brackets and zip ties. The models are standard and digital slim. The cost of the standard one is slightly less than the digital. The digital one is most sought after because:

The Bimota DB7 Hid Headlights also uses projector headlamps for a more focused beam. The luminous flux varies from 2400 lumens to 2800 lumens. The color ranges from golden yellow to violet on the spectrum. It uses a pair of xenon direct replacement bulbs. Apart from adding a style the headlights also add to night time and peripheral visibility. It also comes with advanced features like halo eyes. The Bimota DB7 Hid conversion kit houses standard or super slim digital ballasts, wiring connectors and screws. It uses the canbus wiring system to provide protection to the different electrical components. It consumes a steady power of 35W and can provide failure free operation of around 3000 hours. The input voltage varies from 9V to 16V and the steady state working current is around 3.5 A.The lamp frequency is around 450 Hz. It requires a high start up voltage of around 23KV but at steady state it is 13.2V.

The Bimota DB7 Hid bulbs produce a white to purplish white light. There are more than sixteen types of bulbs in this series.
